Meet Amani Maurice from the US

"When Atlas Copco established a sales company in Egypt they were looking to employ someone with sales and service experience to start the Tools business. It was a big challenge being responsible for the whole market.  Not only did I visit customers, but I also sold and repaired tools, made presentations and trained the customers.  Within two years I became Business Line Manager Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems (ACTA) in Egypt."

Amani Maurice joined Atlas Copco in 1998 as a sales person, selling Compressors in Egypt. In 2004, after working as Business Line Manager, Amani moved to the USA to work as Product Marketing Engineer, for Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems, Michigan.

"The international exposure is a great experience for me.  I am now moving to another challenging position in Compressors, in Westfield USA.  My mission is to create a bigger market share for Atlas Copco by being in responsible for a certain territory."

Amani's typical day involves visiting the customer at the plants to resolve a technical problem or to offer consulting advice on how on Atlas Copco could provide a better solution for their specific industry needs.

When asked about the most fun part of her job, Amani smiles and says:

"Meeting people from other Atlas Copco divisions or countries. We share our experience in Atlas Copco. Although the divisions have different customer groups and business strategies, we all share The Atlas Copco Way."
